Richemont seeks a Head of Retail in Hong Kong. Lead the Hong Kong retail network, P&L and boutique teams for one of Richemont's luxury maisons.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the retail strategy for the Hong Kong market, aligning local initiatives with regional and global brand objectives.
  • Own P&L accountability for the Hong Kong retail network; set sales targets, monitor performance and deliver profitable growth.
  • Lead, mentor and develop store leadership and boutique teams to maximise client acquisition, retention and lifetime value.
  • Ensure exemplary client experience and commercial standards across all points of sale; maintain brand presentation and merchandising excellence.
  • Translate market intelligence into assortment, merchandising and promotional actions that capitalise on local demand and tourism dynamics.
  • Manage inventory, stock flow and visual merchandising in close collaboration with supply chain and wholesale teams to optimise sell-through and stock efficiency.
  • Collaborate with regional marketing, e‑commerce and CRM teams to deliver seamless omnichannel client journeys and high-impact clienteling programs.
  • Prepare accurate forecasts, budgets and management reporting; present performance analysis and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Engage with landlords, retail partners and local authorities to protect brand integrity and secure favourable commercial terms.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership in luxury retail with responsibility for multiple boutiques or a regional retail network.
  • Track record of delivering P&L improvements, sales growth and KPI-driven performance in a high-volume market.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and commercial acumen with experience liaising across global and regional teams.
  • Strong analytical capability, financial literacy and experience producing forecasts, budgets and business cases.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management or a related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and coaching skills with the ability to attract, retain and develop top retail talent.
  • Fluent English; proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin is advantageous given market dynamics.

Experience

Senior-level luxury retail experience, typically 10+ years with progressive responsibility including multi-boutique or regional leadership and demonstrated success managing P&L, driving sales and developing boutique teams in high-traffic luxury markets.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced qualification preferred.
