Global Trade Management Business Analyst
Richemont seeks a Global Trade Management Business Analyst in Moscavide, Portugal to manage SAP GTS, customs compliance and international trade operations.
Overview
Richemont is a leading luxury goods group that owns and manages a portfolio of international maisons spanning jewellery, watches, leather goods and writing instruments. Role & Responsibilities
- Design, document and optimise end-to-end global trade processes (import/export) to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
- Configure, support and drive continuous improvement of Global Trade Management systems (e.g., SAP GTS/S4HANA integrations) and associated ERP interfaces.
- Manage classification (HS codes), valuation, licensing and export controls; ensure correct duties, tariffs and preferential origin treatment are applied.
- Monitor changes in international trade regulation and translate legal requirements into operational controls and system rules.
- Partner with Customs, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance and Commercial teams to resolve trade exceptions, audits and disputes.
- Deliver analytical reporting and KPIs on trade flows, duty optimisation, customs performance and compliance risks using BI tools.
- Lead or contribute to projects and system implementations, including requirements gathering, testing, UAT and rollout support.
- Support internal and external audits and contribute to remediation plans for compliance gaps.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain or related discipline.
- Professional certification in customs or trade compliance (preferred) or demonstrable experience with regulatory frameworks.
- Strong analytical aptitude with meticulous attention to regulatory and data accuracy.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across multi‑disciplinary, international teams.
Skills
Experience
Typically 3–5 years of progressive experience in global trade management, customs operations or trade compliance within an international organisation; demonstrable experience with SAP GTS or comparable GTM platforms and with cross‑functional project delivery. Experience in luxury, retail or fashion sectors is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or relevant professional certification in trade compliance/customs preferred.
