Richemont is hiring an Engraver & After‑Sales Jeweller in New York (Fifth Avenue) to perform fine engraving and luxury jewellery repairs.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute precision hand and machine engraving on high‑end jewellery and precious metal objects to maison standards.
  • Perform after‑sales repairs and restorations including stone setting, micro‑soldering, re‑polishing and structural adjustments.
  • Diagnose customer returns and prepare accurate technical reports and cost estimates for after‑service cases.
  • Deliver final quality control and finishing to ensure items meet brand specifications and couture presentation.
  • Liaise with boutique teams, service centre colleagues and clients to manage turn‑around times and customer communications.
  • Maintain organised bench records, tooling inventories and compliance with health, safety and materials handling protocols.

Qualifications

  • Vocational diploma in jewellery making, bench jeweller training or equivalent certified apprenticeship.
  • Demonstrable portfolio of fine engraving work and jewellery repairs on precious metals and gemstones.
  • Strong knowledge of gemology fundamentals and secure stone‑setting techniques.
  • Excellent manual dexterity, eye for detail and steady hand under magnification.
  • Familiarity with after‑sales workshop processes, documentation and customer‑facing repair procedures.

Vocational qualification in jewellery making, bench jeweller apprenticeship or equivalent technical certification.
