Role & Responsibilities
- Define, document and maintain corporate endpoint technology standards, baselines and build processes for Windows and macOS workstations.
- Design and operate automated provisioning, imaging and configuration pipelines for new and refreshed endpoints.
- Implement and enforce patching, configuration management and security baselines in partnership with Information Security and Endpoint Security teams.
- Operate and optimise MDM/EMM and configuration platforms; develop scripts and automation to accelerate deployments and reduce manual variance.
- Validate and qualify hardware, OS updates and third-party applications against standards; run pilot programs and manage rollout plans.
- Produce technical runbooks, standards documentation and change control artefacts; provide subject-matter expertise to IT projects and local support teams.
- Collaborate with global IT, security, procurement and vendor partners to ensure compliance, cost-efficiency and operational scalability.
- Perform root-cause analysis on recurring endpoint incidents and implement long-term remediation to reduce support overhead.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience defining and operating endpoint standards in a multinational corporate environment.
- Practical experience with Windows and macOS lifecycle management, imaging and configuration.
- Familiarity with enterprise security and compliance controls applied to endpoints.
- Strong scripting and automation competency (PowerShell or comparable).
- Relevant industry certifications (Microsoft, JAMF, ITIL or security certifications) preferred.

Typically 4–7 years of hands-on experience in endpoint engineering, systems management or workplace IT, including implementing standards and automation in a multi-site, international organisation.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
