Role & Responsibilities
- Perform installation, inspection, preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems on production machines and facility infrastructure.
- Diagnose and repair faults in low‑voltage distribution, control cabinets, motors, drives, sensors and associated cabling to minimise production downtime.
- Troubleshoot and support PLCs, HMIs and automation components together with production engineering to restore and optimise equipment performance.
- Read, interpret and update electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and maintenance records; maintain accurate documentation of interventions and spare parts usage.
- Execute electrical safety interventions in compliance with local regulations and company lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects, provide technical feedback to engineering, and implement modifications to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Ensure availability and correct stocking of critical electrical spares and tooling; coordinate with purchasing and external service providers for specialised repairs.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns, perform root‑cause analysis and propose preventive actions to reduce recurrence.
Qualifications
- Vocational diploma or apprenticeship in electrical engineering/electrotechnology or equivalent qualification.
- Recognised electrical certification or licence for work on industrial low‑voltage installations.
- Proven ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and safe work practices (LOTO, PPE).
- Strong problem‑solving skills, autonomy and the ability to work collaboratively with production and engineering teams.

Experience
Several years of hands‑on experience in industrial electrical maintenance, ideally within high‑precision or manufacturing environments (e.g., watchmaking, electronics or precision engineering).
Education
Vocational diploma or apprenticeship in electrical engineering / electrotechnology or equivalent.
