Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute inventory allocation across wholesale, retail and e‑commerce channels to maximize availability and minimize excess stock.
  • Build short‑ and mid‑term demand forecasts and translate sales plans into replenishment and transfer recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Merchandise, Wholesale, Retail Operations and Logistics to align stock movements with promotional calendars and product launches.
  • Monitor and analyse distribution KPIs (fill rate, stock turns, ageing, OTB) and produce regular performance reporting for stakeholders.
  • Manage stock transfer planning, safety stock parameters and replenishment rules within the ERP/OMS environment.
  • Identify and implement optimisation opportunities (network allocation, replenishment logic, transportation trade‑offs).
  • Support S&OP cycles and contribute actionable scenarios to balance service levels and inventory investment.
  • Ensure data integrity for SKU/location master data and maintain governance for distribution-related processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or equivalent; Master's degree advantageous.
  • Proven experience in distribution planning, inventory allocation or demand planning within retail or luxury goods.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative capability with a track record of translating data into operational decisions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with commercial and operations teams across multiple geographies.
  • Fluent business-level reporting and presentation skills; strong attention to detail and process orientation.

Experience

Typically 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in distribution planning, inventory allocation or demand planning within retail, wholesale or luxury sectors; experience with omnichannel distribution and international logistics preferred.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or equivalent; Master's degree advantageous.
