Richemont seeks a Digital Manufacturing Tech Team Lead in Meyrin, Switzerland — lead Industry 4.0 delivery and MES/IIoT integration for luxury manufacturing.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow a multidisciplinary technical team responsible for digital manufacturing platforms and services across Richemont maisons.
  • Define and deliver the digital manufacturing roadmap (MES, IIoT, data pipelines, integrations with PLM/ERP) aligned with operational priorities and quality standards.
  • Architect and supervise implementation of Industry 4.0 solutions, including OT/IT integration, OPC-UA, SCADA/PLC interfaces and IoT device connectivity.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain and product teams to translate production needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and system integrators; oversee procurement, delivery milestones and technical acceptance.
  • Ensure secure, maintainable deployments through CI/CD practices, configuration management, monitoring and incident response processes.
  • Coach and mentor engineers; set technical standards, run code and design reviews, and promote knowledge sharing across sites.
  • Monitor performance metrics, deliver technical documentation and provide regular status reporting to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering, computer science, industrial automation or equivalent practical experience (BSc/MSc preferred).
  • Proven leadership experience managing technical teams in manufacturing or industrial software contexts.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing systems (MES, PLM, ERP) and OT/IT convergence in discrete or luxury manufacturing.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering integrations between shop-floor systems and enterprise applications.
  • Strong vendor and stakeholder management experience in multi-site, multilingual environments.
  • Fluency in modern software development lifecycle practices, IT security fundamentals and change management.

Experience

Typically 5+ years of experience in digital manufacturing, industrial IT or automation, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role delivering MES/IIoT/OT-IT projects in a multi-site production environment.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Automation or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
