Deputy Boutique Manager
Richemont seeks a Deputy Boutique Manager in Düsseldorf to support boutique operations, sales leadership and client relations for a luxury maison.

Role & Responsibilities
- Act as second-in-command in the Düsseldorf boutique, deputising for the Boutique Manager in day-to-day operations and decision-making.
- Drive sales performance through active selling, coaching the team on clienteling techniques and maintaining rigorous follow-up with VIP clients.
- Lead and develop boutique staff: schedule rotas, deliver product and service training, conduct performance reviews and foster a high-performing sales culture.
- Ensure impeccable visual merchandising and boutique presentation consistent with maison standards and seasonal directives.
- Oversee stock management and inventory control, coordinate deliveries and stock reconciliation, and liaise with regional logistics and headquarters.
- Manage daily administration: POS transactions, cash handling procedures, sales reporting and achievement of KPIs.
- Maintain loss-prevention procedures and ensure compliance with company policies, local legislation and brand security protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury retail with at least 3 years in a supervisory or senior sales role; demonstrable success meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills with experience in coaching, conflict resolution and performance management.
- Excellent clienteling and relationship-building capabilities, with a client-first approach appropriate to high-net-worth customers.
- Fluent professional-level German and strong English communication skills (verbal and written) to interact with local and international clientele and corporate teams.
- Solid numerical literacy for sales reporting, KPI analysis and inventory reconciliation.

Experience
Minimum three years of progressive experience in luxury retail, including supervisory responsibility; track record of delivering commercial results, building client relationships and developing retail teams.
Education
Secondary education required; vocational qualification or tertiary diploma in Business, Retail Management, Hospitality or related field preferred.
