Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to consolidate data from multiple maisons and operational systems.
- Implement and optimise data models, ingestion workflows and storage solutions to support analytics, reporting and machine-learning use cases.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable production data assets.
- Ensure data quality, lineage and observability through automated tests, monitoring and remediation procedures.
- Productionise and containerise data services, manage deployments and contribute to platform automation and infrastructure-as-code.
- Participate in data governance, security and compliance activities to protect sensitive customer and commercial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related quantitative discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven proficiency with SQL and programmatic data processing (Python or Scala).
- Experience building and maintaining ETL/data pipelines in cloud or hybrid environments.
- Familiarity with data modelling, data warehousing concepts and performance tuning.
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate business needs into technical solutions.

Experience
Typically 3–5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, large-scale ETL development, or a related analytics/engineering role, with exposure to cloud platforms and production deployments.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
