Data & AI Governance Engineer
Richemont seeks a Data & AI Governance Engineer in Villars-sur-Glâne to implement enterprise data and AI governance across its luxury maisons.

Role & Responsibilities
- Design, implement and operationalize enterprise-wide data and AI governance frameworks, policies and standards tailored to luxury retail and product domains.
- Define metadata, lineage and stewardship practices and integrate them into data catalogs and metadata management platforms.
- Establish model risk-management processes: model inventory, risk assessment, documentation, validation and monitoring for production ML/AI systems.
- Collaborate with data engineering, ML teams and legal/compliance to ensure GDPR and sector-specific regulatory adherence.
- Specify and deploy technical controls for data quality, access management, lineage and versioning across cloud and on‑prem platforms.
- Select, configure and integrate governance tooling (catalogs, policy engines, observability) and drive adoption through training and documentation.
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor data/AI governance posture and report to cross-functional stakeholders and governance committees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related discipline; Master’s preferred.
- Proven knowledge of data governance frameworks and AI ethics/governance principles; familiarity with GDPR and other data protection regimes.
- Experience implementing metadata management, data cataloguing and model governance processes in an enterprise environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to translate governance requirements into technical specifications and implementation roadmaps.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CDMP, DAMA, Responsible AI/ML governance) are advantageous.

Experience
Mid-level experience: typically 3+ years in data governance, data engineering, ML/AI operations or a closely related discipline, with hands-on delivery of governance controls and tooling in an enterprise setting.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
