Role & Responsibilities
- Support month‑end and quarter‑end close activities, including preparation of journals and reconciliations.
- Perform variance analyses on costs and margins and prepare clear, actionable commentary for finance managers.
- Compile and distribute regular cost and performance reports to regional and brand stakeholders.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and accruals processes; update models and trackers as required.
- Contribute to cost allocation and cost‑centre analysis to improve transparency across business units.
- Join ad‑hoc projects to streamline reporting, automate workflows and enhance financial controls.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners (commercial, supply chain, operations) to validate cost drivers and support decision making.
- Maintain and improve internal documentation, templates and reporting packs used by the controlling team.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master’s program in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
- Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present findings succinctly to non‑financial stakeholders.
- Proactive approach to problem solving and comfort working in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight reporting deadlines.

Experience
Internship‑level role; academic coursework in accounting or finance is required. Prior internship or part‑time experience in finance, accounting or retail finance is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
