Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the legal team on corporate and commercial law matters, including drafting and reviewing contracts, corporate resolutions and board minutes.
  • Assist with company secretarial duties: maintenance of corporate records, statutory filings and regulatory documentation.
  • Perform legal research and prepare concise memoranda on French and EU corporate law, contractual issues and regulatory developments.
  • Contribute to due diligence processes and the preparation of legal bundles for transactions and internal approvals.
  • Coordinate with external counsel and internal stakeholders to follow up on ongoing litigation, compliance or transactional matters.
  • Prepare and format board and committee materials, ensuring compliance with internal governance processes and timelines.
  • Support ad hoc projects across the legal department, including policy updates, contractual templates and cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a recognised French law programme (Master 1 or Master 2) with a focus on business/corporate law; eligible for an alternance (work‑study) contract in France.
  • Strong academic record and demonstrable interest in corporate law, governance and commercial contracts.
  • Excellent drafting and analytical skills, with attention to detail and clear legal writing.
  • Capacity to manage deadlines and multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, client-facing environment.
  • Professional discretion and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Experience

Enrolled in Master 1 or Master 2 in Law (specialisation in Business/Corporate Law) or equivalent; eligible for alternance contract in France.
