Controller
Richemont seeks a Controller in Mexico City to lead local financial reporting, controls and budgeting for its luxury maisons.

Role & Responsibilities
- Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes, producing timely statutory and management financial statements for local Richemont entities.
- Prepare and present variance analysis, KPIs and operational commentaries to regional finance and local business leadership.
- Own budgeting, forecasting and rolling forecast cycles; coordinate with central finance and other country teams to align assumptions.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls, SOX readiness and compliance with IFRS and local tax and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and develop the local accounting team, delegate tasks, and drive process standardisation and automation.
- Coordinate external and internal audits, manage tax filings and interact with treasury for cash management and intercompany flows.
- Identify and implement process improvements using ERP and reporting tools to strengthen reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent; professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA or local equivalent) strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of IFRS and local Mexican accounting and tax regulations.
- Proven experience implementing and monitoring internal control frameworks and audit processes.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience supervising accounting or finance teams.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting and financial controlling experience, including at least 2 years in a multinational environment or within the luxury/consumer goods sector; demonstrable exposure to statutory reporting, audits and cross‑border finance operations.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; professional accounting designation preferred.
