Richemont seeks a Commercial Analyst in Dubai to deliver sales, margin and inventory analysis and reporting for its luxury maisons.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver regular and ad hoc commercial reporting and dashboards to track sales, margins, sell‑through and stock KPIs across channels and markets.
  • Build and maintain forecasting and budget models to support short‑term planning and annual commercial plans.
  • Analyse price, promotion and assortment performance to identify opportunities for margin improvement and revenue growth.
  • Provide commercial insights and actionable recommendations to regional and brand teams to inform buying, allocation and pricing decisions.
  • Prepare business cases and scenario analyses for product launches, promotional activities and inventory optimisation.
  • Automate recurring reporting processes and ensure data integrity across ERP/BI systems; document assumptions and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with finance, merchandising, supply chain and retail operations to align on targets, reconciliations and performance drivers.
  • Support monthly close and management review processes by reconciling sales data and explaining variances against plan.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics or a related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Proven analytical proficiency with strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience in retail or luxury goods commercial/finance functions, with demonstrable understanding of margin and inventory dynamics.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills with the ability to translate data into commercial recommendations.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, matrixed international organisation and manage multiple priorities.

Skills

Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, VBA/macros) Power BI SQL SAP (FI/CO or S/4HANA) Tableau Financial modelling and forecasting KPI design and commercial analytics

Experience

Typically 2–5 years of progressive experience in commercial analysis, business intelligence or finance within retail or luxury goods; prior exposure to regional markets or global matrix organisations is highly advantageous.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics or related discipline; a postgraduate qualification (MSc, MBA) is an asset.
