Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary, personalized client service in a boutique environment, guiding clients through the technical and aesthetic attributes of A. Lange & Söhne timepieces.
- Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets through consultative selling and proactive client development.
- Manage and grow a client portfolio via systematic clienteling, appointment management and follow‑up for after‑sales and servicing opportunities.
- Maintain immaculate boutique presentation and visual merchandising that reflect brand standards and product narratives.
- Coordinate with after‑sales/technical service teams to ensure smooth servicing, warranty handling and client communication.
- Process transactions, returns and documentation accurately while adhering to company policies and local regulations.
- Support in‑store events, private viewings and trunk shows, contributing to VIP hospitality and prospecting high‑net‑worth clients.
- Monitor inventory, handle stock movements and liaise with regional logistics to safeguard product integrity and availability.
Qualifications
- Proven aptitude for luxury retail sales with a client‑centric mindset and polished professional presentation.
- Strong knowledge or demonstrable interest in mechanical watchmaking and haute horlogerie; willingness to undertake product and technical training.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and long‑term relationships with discerning clientele.
- High level of commercial acumen and numerical literacy for sales reconciliation and KPI tracking.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to meet boutique needs and client availability.
- Legal right to work in Japan and reliability handling high‑value merchandise.
Skills
Experience
Typically 2+ years of direct experience in luxury retail, preferably with watches or high‑end jewelry, demonstrating a consistent sales record and experience managing high‑value client relationships.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; tertiary qualification in business, hospitality, marketing or a related discipline preferred.
