Richemont seeks a Client Adviser for IWC in Tokyo — drive luxury watch sales, manage client relationships and represent the boutique.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Actively sell IWC timepieces in the Tokyo boutique, meeting and exceeding individual and store sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients through strategic clienteling, personalised follow-up and after-sales care.
  • Deliver exemplary brand experiences by applying deep product knowledge and positioning IWC’s technical and aesthetic narratives.
  • Manage boutique standards including visual merchandising, stock rotation, loss prevention and accurate POS and inventory transactions.
  • Support boutique events, private appointments and trunk shows; collaborate with boutique and regional teams to maximise commercial opportunities.
  • Record client interactions and sales activity accurately in CRM and provide timely reporting to store management.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to represent a luxury brand with professional poise and discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a client-first orientation.
  • Legal authorization to work in Japan.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
  • Fluency in Japanese; business-level English is highly desirable.

Experience

Typically 2+ years of progressive sales experience in luxury retail, preferably within watches, jewellery or high-end fashion, with a demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets and building repeat clientele.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in luxury retail, watchmaking, or related disciplines is a plus.
