Richemont seeks a Business Controller in Meyrin, Switzerland to lead FP&A, reporting and business partnering for its luxury maisons.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver timely monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting and variance analysis for assigned business units.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and rolling-plan processes; partner with commercial and operations teams to translate strategy into financial targets.
  • Drive KPI definition, consolidation and performance tracking to support business decision-making and margin management.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities and ensure accuracy of accounting entries and reconciliations.
  • Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis, scenario modelling and business cases for new initiatives, product launches and projects.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls, financial processes and reporting automation; liaise with IT on systems enhancements.
  • Act as a business partner to local and regional stakeholders, explaining financial implications and supporting commercial negotiations.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors and contribute to statutory and management reporting requirements.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent; master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of management accounting principles and financial reporting standards (IFRS familiarity advantageous).
  • Proven ability to build financial models, perform complex variance analysis and present actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Fluent written and spoken business communication skills; ability to interact across multifunctional and multicultural teams.
  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and demonstrable commitment to process improvement and control compliance.

Experience

Typically 3–5 years of progressive experience in controlling, financial planning & analysis, or audit in a multinational environment; experience within luxury goods, retail or manufacturing is strongly preferred.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; a postgraduate degree or recognised accounting qualification is advantageous.
