Richemont is hiring a Business Controller (fixed-term maternity cover) in Dubai. Contract role focused on FP&A, reporting and business partnering.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver timely month-end and quarterly management reporting, including consolidation of multi-entity results and variance explanations.
  • Prepare budgets, rolling forecasts and scenario analyses; maintain forecast accuracy and highlight key drivers to senior stakeholders.
  • Produce insightful commercial and cost analyses to support merchandising, retail and wholesale partners in Dubai and the region.
  • Partner with business leaders to translate performance metrics into actionable plans and to challenge cost and margin initiatives.
  • Monitor KPIs, cash flow and working capital; recommend operational efficiencies and corrective actions when required.
  • Support internal and external audit processes and ensure adherence to Richemont financial policies and IFRS where applicable.
  • Drive ad‑hoc financial projects and business cases, including post-implementation reviews and integration of new initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
  • Professional accounting qualification preferred (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
  • Strong command of financial control and reporting principles, including IFRS accounting standards.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail and ability to operate under tight month-end deadlines.

Experience

Typically 4–7 years of progressive finance or controlling experience, preferably within luxury retail, consumer goods, or professional services; proven exposure to multi-entity reporting, commercial partnering and month-end close cycles is expected.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; professional accounting certification preferred.
