Role & Responsibilities
- Support the collection, cleaning and consolidation of quantitative data from internal systems and external sources to feed dashboards and monthly reports.
- Perform descriptive and exploratory analysis to identify business trends, KPI variances and opportunities for commercial optimisation.
- Build and maintain automated reports and dashboards (Excel, Power BI/Tableau) to streamline regular reporting cycles and ad‑hoc stakeholder requests.
- Contribute to financial and commercial modelling for merchandising, sales forecasting and inventory scenarios.
- Translate analysis into concise slide decks and executive summaries for cross‑functional stakeholders including merchandising, retail and finance teams.
- Participate in project workstreams to map processes, document requirements and test analytics solutions.
- Present findings and recommended next steps to team members and, where appropriate, to business partners.
- Support initiatives to improve data quality, reporting governance and analytics best practices across the team.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Statistics or a related discipline.
- Demonstrable analytical aptitude with comfort manipulating large datasets and producing clear conclusions.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience building automated reports and dashboards.
- Working knowledge of at least one data language or query tool (SQL, Python or R) and one BI tool (Tableau or Power BI) is strongly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to synthesise complex analysis into concise recommendations.
- Organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
- Prior internship experience or academic projects involving quantitative analysis is advantageous.
- Professional maturity, curiosity and a collaborative mindset suited to a luxury retail and wholesale environment.
