Brand Controller
Richemont is hiring a Brand Controller in Seoul to manage brand P&L, forecasting and financial reporting for its luxury maisons.
Overview
Richemont is a leading international luxury goods group comprising several high-end maisons across jewellery, watches and accessories. The group is recognised for its emphasis on craftsmanship, heritage brands and curated retail experiences, operating through a global network of boutiques, wholesale channels and digital platforms.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own brand-level financial controlling: prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, P&L statements and KPI dashboards.
- Lead budgeting, rolling forecasting and long-range planning processes in partnership with commercial and regional teams.
- Provide variance analysis and commercial insight to explain performance drivers and recommend corrective actions.
- Support pricing, margin optimisation and assortment decisions through scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis.
- Ensure timely delivery of management reporting and financial packages to regional and group finance stakeholders.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting treatments and compliance with group reporting standards (IFRS/Group policies).
- Act as business partner to merchandising, retail and marketing teams, translating financial implications into actionable plans.
- Coordinate with shared services, external auditors and local tax advisors on transactional and statutory matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification preferred (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Demonstrated ability to translate financial data into commercial recommendations and to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to senior management.
- High standards of accuracy, organisation and ownership in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of progressive finance or controlling experience, ideally within luxury retail, fashion, watches/jewellery or consumer goods; experience in a regional or business‑unit finance role preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; professional accounting qualification preferred.
