Brand Controller
Richemont seeks a Brand Controller in Madrid — financial controller role responsible for P&L, forecasting and commercial partnership for a luxury maison.

Role & Responsibilities
- Own monthly and quarterly financial reporting for the assigned brand, delivering accurate P&L, balance sheet and cash flow analysis to brand leadership.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and rolling-plan processes, reconciling expectations with commercial teams and consolidating brand-level views.
- Perform margin, SKU and channel profitability analysis; identify and quantify levers to improve gross margin and operating performance.
- Drive month-end close activities and ensure alignment between local accounting, regional finance and corporate consolidation teams.
- Partner with sales, merchandising and marketing to translate commercial initiatives into financial projections and to challenge assumptions.
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and ad hoc analyses to support strategic decisions, product assortment planning and inventory management.
- Strengthen internal controls, governance and standardised reporting formats to improve transparency and decision speed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent; a master’s degree in a relevant discipline is advantageous.
- Professional accounting qualification desirable (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) or strong demonstrable accounting skills.
- Proven ability to interpret commercial drivers and translate them into robust financial plans and analyses.
- Strong analytical rigour, attention to detail and the capacity to communicate financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
Skills
Experience
Typically 3–6 years of progressive experience in financial controlling, FP&A or commercial finance, preferably within luxury goods, fashion, retail or consumer goods. Experience of working in a multi-country, multi-currency environment and collaborating with commercial teams is expected.
Education
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; master’s qualification or professional accounting credential preferred.
