Role & Responsibilities
- Direct all operational aspects of the Ginza flagship boutique, ensuring excellence in client experience and adherence to Vacheron Constantin brand standards.
- Own boutique P&L: monitor sales performance, control costs, manage inventory and drive margin improvement through commercial initiatives.
- Lead, mentor and recruit a high‑performing sales and service team; set targets, conduct performance reviews and deliver ongoing training in product knowledge and clientelling.
- Develop and execute local merchandising, visual presentation and stock allocation plans in coordination with regional merchandising and headquarters teams.
- Cultivate and expand a roster of VIP clients through proactive clienteling, private appointments and bespoke events; manage key accounts and after‑sales service expectations.
- Coordinate boutique events, launches and partnerships to strengthen brand presence and drive footfall at the flagship location.
- Prepare regular operational and commercial reports; analyse KPIs to identify opportunities and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure strict compliance with loss prevention, legal, regulatory and Richemont corporate governance requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership in luxury retail management with responsibility for a high‑end boutique or flagship store.
- Deep knowledge of haute horlogerie or demonstrated affinity for luxury watchmaking and product storytelling.
- Strong commercial acumen with hands‑on experience managing store P&L, inventory and sales forecasting.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop and retain talent in a boutique environment; excellent people management skills.
- Exceptional clienteling and relationship‑management capabilities, including experience with VIP client programs and private events.
- Fluent Japanese strongly preferred; professional English skills desirable given regular liaison with regional and maison teams.

Experience
Extensive experience (typically 5+ years) in senior retail management within the luxury sector, preferably with direct experience in watches or high‑end jewellery and managing flagship or high-volume boutique locations.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, hospitality or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience in luxury retail.
