Richemont seeks a Boutique Director in London to lead boutique operations, drive sales and deliver exceptional client experiences.

Overview

Richemont is a leading specialist in high-end luxury goods and owner of an international portfolio of maisons across jewellery, watches, leather goods and writing instruments. As part of a Swiss luxury group, Richemont positions its maisons on craftsmanship, heritage and premium client experiences while operating global retail networks and flagship boutiques.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership of the London boutique, ensuring operations meet brand standards and deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Own the boutique P&L: drive sales, margin and KPI performance through commercial planning and disciplined execution.
  • Recruit, develop and coach the boutique team; set targets, manage performance reviews and foster a high-performing culture.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients through personalised clienteling and VIP service programmes.
  • Implement and maintain visual merchandising and store presentation to reflect seasonal campaigns and maison directives.
  • Manage inventory, stock replenishment and loss-prevention processes in collaboration with regional supply teams.
  • Plan and execute in-store marketing, client events and local activations to amplify brand presence and drive footfall.
  • Prepare regular sales and operational reports for regional management and use data to inform corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements and health & safety standards.
  • Act as local ambassador for the maison, liaising with central teams (product, CRM, marketing) to align boutique activities with global strategy.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of delivering commercial results within luxury retail or premium retail environments.
  • Demonstrable experience managing P&L and achieving sales, margin and KPI targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience recruiting, developing and motivating sales teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a client-focused, service-minded approach.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings; right to work in the UK.

Experience

Typically 5+ years of progressive experience in luxury retail management, including direct P&L responsibility and proven success leading store teams in flagship or high-visibility boutiques.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business, retail management, hospitality, fashion or a related discipline — or equivalent demonstrable experience in luxury retail.
