Richemont seeks a Boutique Director in Austin to lead boutique operations, drive sales and manage client relations for a leading luxury maison.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead all day-to-day boutique operations, ensuring flawless execution of brand standards and exceptional client experiences.
  • Own the boutique's commercial performance and P&L accountability; define and deliver sales targets and KPI objectives.
  • Recruit, develop and coach a high-performing sales and service team; set objectives, conduct performance reviews and lead talent development.
  • Drive high-touch clienteling strategies and personalised service to cultivate and retain VIP clientele.
  • Oversee visual merchandising, in-store presentation and client-facing environments to reflect maison aesthetics and seasonal directives.
  • Manage inventory, stock control and replenishment processes in partnership with regional supply functions; minimise shrinkage.
  • Plan and execute private client events, trunk shows and local activations to increase brand visibility and sales.
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies, local regulations and luxury retail best practices; liaise with regional management and maison teams.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership in luxury retail with the ability to inspire and develop a service-driven team.
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable experience meeting and exceeding sales targets and managing a boutique P&L.
  • Sophisticated client-facing skills and a track record of building long-term relationships with high-net-worth customers.
  • Deep understanding of luxury product categories relevant to the maison (e.g., watches, jewellery, leather goods or fashion).
  • Excellent organisational skills, discretion and the ability to manage multiple operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

Minimum five years in luxury retail, including at least three years in a managerial role responsible for boutique or store operations and sales leadership.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, fashion or a related discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience in luxury retail accepted.
