Richemont Boutique Assistant Internship in Amsterdam — Richemont seeks an intern to support boutique sales, merchandising and clienteling in Amsterdam.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the boutique sales team with daily client‑facing activities, including greeting clients and assisting on the sales floor.
  • Contribute to clienteling efforts: update client records, follow up on enquiries and assist with appointment management.
  • Operate the point‑of‑sale system and process transactions under supervision; assist with returns and exchanges following brand procedures.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards: replenish displays, prepare merchandise for presentation and ensure boutique housekeeping.
  • Receive and unpack deliveries, perform stock counts and assist with inventory organisation and stockroom control.
  • Shadow senior staff during client consultations and boutique events; participate in product and brand training sessions.
  • Support boutique events and private appointments, including preparation, on‑site coordination and post‑event follow up.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a tertiary programme (Bachelor or higher) in Fashion, Luxury Management, Retail, Marketing or a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional, client‑centric demeanour.
  • Availability to work a retail schedule including weekends and evenings for the duration of the internship.
  • Right to work in the Netherlands for the full internship period.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, team‑oriented attitude.

Experience

No specific prior experience required; previous retail or luxury boutique experience is advantageous and will be considered positively.

Education
