Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored client service and product consultations to English- and Chinese-speaking customers in the Ginza boutique.
  • Drive sales and cultivate long-term relationships with high-net-worth clientele through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
  • Present, demonstrate and handle haute horlogerie timepieces with exacting care and adherence to brand presentation standards.
  • Manage transactions, inventory receiving and stock maintenance using boutique POS and CRM procedures.
  • Support after-sales processes including servicing coordination, warranty registration and liaising with regional service centres.
  • Maintain visual merchandising and boutique presentation consistent with A. Lange & Söhne brand guidelines.
  • Participate in product training, internal workshops and team briefings to deepen product and horological knowledge.
  • Achieve individual and boutique sales targets and contribute to team performance metrics.

Qualifications

  • Fluent spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin) as stated in the role title.
  • Right to work in Japan.
  • Professional demeanor with immaculate grooming and the ability to represent a high-end luxury maison.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to engage discerning clientele.
  • Availability to work retail hours including weekends and peak trading periods.

Experience

At least 2 years of retail experience in luxury watches, jewellery or premium goods with a demonstrable track record of client development and meeting sales targets. Prior boutique or brand‑house experience is strongly preferred.

Education

High school diploma required; vocational or tertiary qualification in hospitality, retail management or a related field preferred.
