Assistant Quality Manager
Richemont is hiring an Assistant Quality Manager in Grand Prairie. Lead supplier quality, inspections and continuous improvement for a luxury goods maison.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Quality Manager in maintaining and improving the site quality management system to meet internal brand standards and applicable certifications (e.g. ISO).
- Coordinate incoming, in-process and final inspections; ensure product conformity through sampling, dimensional checks and visual criteria.
- Manage supplier quality activities including supplier audits, approval processes, corrective actions and performance monitoring.
- Investigate non-conformities using structured problem‑solving methodologies (8D/RCA) and drive timely corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate quality documentation and records (inspection reports, CAPAs, non-conformance reports) and ensure traceability.
- Analyse quality data and KPI trends to recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives (yield, scrap, returns).
- Coach and supervise QA technicians and inspectors; deliver training on inspection standards and quality procedures.
- Participate in internal and external audits and support regulatory and customer-specific quality requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrable knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001) and industry quality methodologies.
- Proven ability to perform root‑cause analysis and manage corrective actions (8D, RCA, FMEA).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to liaise effectively with suppliers, production and cross‑functional teams.
- Professional approach to documentation, traceability and adherence to brand quality standards.
Skills
Experience
Typically 3–5 years of progressive quality assurance or quality control experience in manufacturing or luxury goods production, including hands-on supplier quality and corrective action management.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing, or equivalent practical experience.
