Role & Responsibilities
- Co-lead day-to-day security operations and health, safety & environment (HSE) programmes across assigned facilities and retail locations.
- Develop, implement and enforce security and HSE policies, procedures and emergency response plans to ensure regulatory compliance and loss-prevention objectives.
- Conduct risk assessments, site inspections and incident investigations; prepare corrective action plans and ensure timely closure.
- Manage and mentor on-site security and HSE personnel; coordinate training programmes, drills and contractor onboarding.
- Oversee physical security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm systems) and vendor relationships for maintenance and upgrades.
- Prepare operational reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders; support budgetary planning for security and HSE initiatives.
- Liaise with local authorities, insurers and external experts during incidents or regulatory inspections.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in corporate security, retail loss prevention or HSE operations.
- Professional certification in health, safety or security (examples: NEBOSH, OSHA, CPP) preferred.
- Demonstrable knowledge of federal, state and local safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong incident investigation and root-cause analysis capability with experience producing clear, actionable reports.
Skills
Experience
Typically 5+ years of progressive experience in security operations and/or HSE within a multi-site corporate or retail environment, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role. Experience in luxury retail, manufacturing or facilities with high-value assets is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, security management, engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
