Assistant Boutique Director
Richemont is hiring an Assistant Boutique Director in Los Angeles (Melrose) to support boutique operations, drive sales and lead the client experience.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Boutique Director in day-to-day management of the Melrose boutique, ensuring seamless retail operations and adherence to brand standards.
- Drive sales performance and KPI achievement through active selling, clienteling and targeted coaching of the sales team.
- Recruit, develop and coach boutique staff; conduct regular performance reviews and deliver ongoing training to maintain luxury service standards.
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment and visual merchandising to optimize presentation and availability.
- Ensure flawless client experience through personalised service, appointment management and follow-up clienteling activities.
- Oversee administrative duties including scheduling, payroll input, cash handling procedures and compliance with loss-prevention policies.
- Analyse sales reports and market trends to recommend action plans and local merchandising initiatives.
- Represent the brand at in-store and local events, enhancing brand visibility and building community relationships.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in luxury retail management or assistant management roles, with demonstrable success in meeting sales targets.
- Strong leadership skills with experience hiring, mentoring and developing boutique teams.
- Excellent commercial acumen and experience analysing retail KPIs, sales forecasting and inventory metrics.
- High standards of client service and polished interpersonal skills suitable for high-net-worth clientele.
- Availability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and peak trade periods; flexibility for events and trainings.
- Multilingualism (Spanish or a second language) is advantageous but not mandatory.

Experience
Typically 3–6 years of progressive experience in luxury retail, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant-manager capacity; experience with high-value product categories preferred.
Education
High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, Fashion or related field preferred.
