Richemont in Bangkok seeks an Assistant Area Visual Merchandising Manager (Contract) to support regional VM rollouts and uphold luxury display standards.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Area Visual Merchandising Manager in planning and executing seasonal VM directives and store rollouts across the assigned territory.
  • Ensure consistent application of brand visual standards in windows, in-store displays and store layouts; conduct regular visual audits and provide corrective action plans.
  • Coordinate with store managers, retail operations and marketing to schedule installations, removals and promotional set-ups, ensuring on-time delivery and brand consistency.
  • Lead and coach in-market VM teams, freelance installers and store staff on display techniques, prop handling and merchandising principles.
  • Translate global creative briefs into region-appropriate execution plans and produce clear implementation guidelines and planograms for stores.
  • Manage VM assets and inventories for the area, including props, mannequins and installation materials; monitor condition and replenishment needs.
  • Prepare post-installation reports, visual performance metrics and feedback to inform future directives and merchandising improvements.
  • Control and report on VM-related budgets for projects and local activations when delegated.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in luxury visual merchandising with demonstrable portfolio of store and window installations.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities with experience supervising multi-site VM activities or teams.
  • Excellent organisational skills with capacity to manage multiple rollouts and strict deadlines across stores.
  • Ability to read and create planograms and to interpret creative briefs into scalable store solutions.
  • Comfortable working across cultures and with cross-functional stakeholders (operations, marketing, retail).
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned area and to work flexible hours during store installs.

Experience

Typically 3–5 years in visual merchandising within luxury retail, with prior responsibility for multi-store or regional implementation and hands-on experience in store installations and visual standards enforcement.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion, Interior Design, Retail Management or equivalent professional experience preferred.
