Accounts Payable Trainee (Alternance)
Richemont seeks an Accounts Payable Trainee (Alternance) in Paris to support supplier invoicing, payments and month-end processes.

Role & Responsibilities
- Process and code supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and in line with internal controls.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery documentation; escalate discrepancies to procurement or business stakeholders.
- Prepare payment proposals and assist with payment runs and bank reconciliations under supervision.
- Reconcile supplier accounts, investigate variances and support month‑end closing activities.
- Maintain supplier master data and ensure proper documentation and archiving for audit readiness.
- Respond to vendor enquiries and liaise with internal teams (procurement, operations) to resolve issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in accounts payable processes and participate in finance projects as required.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent (alternance/apprenticeship framework).
- Strong numerical aptitude, rigor and attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional written and verbal French; good command of English.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Skills
Experience
Prior internship or short-term experience in accounting or finance is advantageous but not mandatory; this role is designed for a candidate seeking practical, on-the-job training in accounts payable within a luxury-group finance function.
Education
Enrolled in a higher education programme (Bachelor's or Master’s level) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent, under an alternance/apprenticeship arrangement.
