Accountant
Richemont seeks an Accountant in Seoul to manage general ledger, month‑end close and financial reporting for its regional operations.

Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger and lead month-end and year-end closing activities for the Seoul entity or regional cluster.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, variance analysis and management reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Perform account reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations and balance-sheet reviews to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as required; oversee invoicing, collections and vendor reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax and VAT reporting requirements; support local tax filings and filings preparedness.
- Support external and internal audits by preparing schedules, documentation and responding to auditor queries.
- Implement and monitor internal controls; propose process improvements to strengthen financial governance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with regional finance, treasury and operational stakeholders to support budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc financial requests.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification preferred (e.g., CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (IFRS experience desirable).
- Demonstrable experience with month‑end close, reconciliations and statutory reporting.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail and ability to handle confidential financial information.
Skills
Experience
Typically 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a multinational or consumer luxury environment, including hands-on responsibility for month-end close, reconciliations and statutory reporting.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA or equivalent) preferred.
