Account Manager, Fragrances — Travel Retail & Area Management
Richemont seeks an Account Manager (Fragrances) — Travel Retail & Area Management in Munich. Lead travel retail accounts and drive fragrance growth.

Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and grow fragrance business across travel retail accounts within the assigned area, including airports, border shops and onboard channels.
- Define and execute channel-specific sales and merchandising plans to achieve revenue, margin and distribution targets.
- Cultivate and maintain strong commercial relationships with key customers, distributors and retail partners; negotiate commercial terms and annual contracts.
- Coordinate cross-functional launch and promotional activities with marketing, retail operations and supply chain to ensure on-time execution and visual consistency.
- Prepare sales forecasts, monitor performance versus plan, and deliver actionable business reviews and KPIs to senior stakeholders.
- Oversee area P&L responsibility and budget management for travel retail initiatives; identify opportunities for margin improvement.
- Provide on‑site visits, training and coaching to store teams and brand ambassadors to maximise sell‑through and conversion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in key account management within travel retail, duty free or luxury beauty/fragrance channels.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets and managing complex customer negotiations.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in forecasting, budgeting and P&L oversight.
- Availability for frequent travel across the assigned area and to travel retail locations.
Skills
Experience
Several years (typically 3–7) of progressive experience in sales or account management within luxury fragrances, beauty or travel retail, with proven success managing major retail partners and delivering growth in duty free environments.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce or a related field preferred.
