Puig seeks an Iberia Sales Director in Barcelona to lead sales for Rabanne, Byredo, Carolina Herrera & more across Spain & Portugal.

Overview

Puig is an independent, family-owned global fashion and fragrance house managing a portfolio of premium and niche brands across beauty, fragrance and skincare. The organisation combines creative brand stewardship with a commercially driven, international distribution footprint and close collaboration between product, marketing and retail teams.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the commercial strategy for the Iberia market (Spain & Portugal) across Puig’s assigned brands to achieve revenue, margin and market-share targets.
  • Lead, coach and develop the Iberia sales organisation — including direct retail teams and third‑party distributor partners — to deliver consistent brand execution and KPI performance.
  • Own the P&L for the region: set sales forecasts, manage budgets, track performance and deliver regular reporting to HQ.
  • Manage key accounts (department stores, selective retail, travel retail, specialty and wholesale partners), negotiate commercial agreements and optimise assortment and channel mix.
  • Collaborate with marketing, trade marketing, merchandising and supply chain to align launches, promotional calendars and in‑store activation.
  • Recruit, structure and upskill teams; establish clear objectives, incentive schemes and performance reviews.
  • Ensure premium brand standards and customer experience across points of sale, including retail visual merchandising and staff training.
  • Drive business development initiatives, identify growth opportunities and implement plans to accelerate penetration and margin expansion.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent; advanced degree or continuous executive education desirable.
  • Proven senior sales leadership experience within luxury fashion, fragrance or prestige beauty, preferably with responsibility for a multi‑brand portfolio.
  • Track record of managing national P&L, delivering consistent top‑line growth and improving margins across retail and wholesale channels.
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation, forecasting and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop high‑performing sales teams and external distributor networks.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the Iberia region.

Experience

Minimum of 8+ years of progressive commercial experience in luxury fashion, beauty or selective retail, with several years in a senior/regional management role and proven success managing cross‑channel sales teams and distributor partnerships across Spain and Portugal.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce or related field; MBA or equivalent executive education is a plus.
