Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and growth of the Purdey Sporting Agency through strategic selling, administration, and hosting of game shooting events.
  • Develop and manage the roving syndicate to enhance client engagement and business opportunities.
  • Host shoot days, ensuring exceptional customer service and memorable experiences for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and sales CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with the broader PRB team on charity events, clay shooting days, and shooting school tuition.
  • Expand overseas shooting sales and cultivate international client relationships.
  • Preserve and expand the existing client base while securing new business opportunities.
  • Enhance the portfolio of trusted estates by developing relationships with high-quality estates.
  • Liaise with estate contact managers and keepers to nurture and strengthen partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a full UK driving license and a shotgun certificate.
  • Proven experience within the field sports industry or as a shooting instructor.

Skills

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand financial figures and meet budgets. Excellent organizational and planning skills, with proficiency in IT and office environments. Discretion, confidentiality, and trustworthiness in handling sensitive information. Ability to initiate contact and communication to build strong relationships. Diplomatic and courteous demeanor with a proactive approach. Adaptability to manage changing scenarios and uncertainty. Natural hosting abilities with charm and high standards.

Experience

Previous experience in the field sports industry is essential, with a proven track record as a shooting instructor being highly desirable.
