Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Maximize sales revenue for guns, rifles, and Purdey products within the boutique.
  • Attract new clients and develop the existing customer base.
  • Promote sales of new and second-hand guns and rifles.
  • Advise customers on the repair, maintenance, and storage of their guns.
  • Promote and sell cartridges, ammunition, and gun-related shooting clothing and accessories.
  • Act as an ambassador for Purdey at private and public events.
  • Assist in the coordination of in-store promotional events.
  • Maintain strict security on all gun displays, storage, and transfer of firearms and ammunition, complying with company and UK firearms legislation.
  • Present the 'face of Purdey' consistently and deliver the 'Purdey Experience' to clients.
  • Ensure clients receive the highest level of service to maintain the company's reputation as a leading gun maker.

Qualifications

  • Proven aptitude for gun sales and a passion for driving revenue growth.
  • Experience with sporting guns and rifles and a genuine interest in country pursuits.

Experience

Experience in gun sales and a background in luxury retail or a related field is required.
