Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and develop innovative products using Solidworks and other CAD packages such as Creo, NX, or Catia.
  • Assist craftsmen in the production of new prototypes.
  • Convert legacy documentation and MasterCAM data into production-ready 3D models and drawings.
  • Review and approve documentation, engineering drawings, material/part specifications, and validation reports.
  • Construct and prove out designs.
  • Maintain familiarity with and utilize a PDM system.
  • Stay updated with and adhere to BS 8888 standards.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in Mechanical, Product, or Design Engineering.
  • Previous professional experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Mechanical Design expertise is preferred.

Skills

Strong understanding of mechanical components and engineering processes. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proactive, hardworking, and solutions-oriented. Familiarity with FMEA and FEA processes. Experience with organic surface modelling. Passion for working with bespoke luxury products.

Experience

Previous professional experience within a manufacturing environment is required, with a preference for candidates with mechanical design expertise.

Education

Educational background in Mechanical, Product, or Design Engineering.
