Global Consumer Data Manager
Puig is hiring a Global Consumer Data Manager in Barcelona to lead consumer data strategy, CDP operations and governance across global brands.

Role & Responsibilities
- Define and drive the global consumer data strategy to create a unified single-customer view that supports marketing, commerce and product teams.
- Own and operate the Customer Data Platform (CDP) and associated data pipelines, ensuring reliable ingestion, identity resolution and segmentation.
- Establish and enforce data governance, quality and lineage standards; partner with legal and privacy teams to ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., data protection laws).
- Manage a small international team and external vendor relationships (CDP, DMP, data engineering, analytics providers).
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications; prioritise backlog and deliverables with product and engineering stakeholders.
- Define KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure consumer engagement, data health and value delivered to marketing and commercial initiatives.
- Lead vendor selection, contractual negotiations and performance management for consumer-data platforms and analytics tools.
Qualifications
- Proven track record owning consumer data strategy and CDP operations at a global or multi-market scale.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and coordinating stakeholders across marketing, CRM, IT and analytics.
- Deep knowledge of data governance, identity resolution, customer data architectures and privacy-compliant data use.
- Demonstrated ability to translate commercial marketing objectives into data and technical requirements.
- Experience overseeing vendor selection, integration and SLAs for data platforms and services.
Skills
Experience
Typically 5+ years working in consumer/customer data, analytics or CRM functions, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or senior individual-contributor role managing global programs and vendor ecosystems. Prior experience in beauty, fashion, FMCG or consumer brands is highly valued.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics or a related discipline; a Master's degree or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
