Puig seeks a Temporary Beauty Ambassador at Bijenkorf Rotterdam — represent Puig's beauty portfolio and deliver exceptional client experiences in-store.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent Puig's beauty portfolio at the Bijenkorf Rotterdam counter, delivering high-quality client experiences and brand storytelling.
  • Provide bespoke consultations and product demonstrations including makeup application, skincare routines and fragrance fitting tailored to individual clients.
  • Drive sales performance and achieve daily/weekly targets through proactive clienteling, follow-up and conversion of walk-in traffic.
  • Maintain merchandising standards: execute visual displays, replenishment, pricing and promotional setups according to brand guidelines.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, handle transactions and manage returns in compliance with store procedures.
  • Support inventory management including stock reception, rotation, shrink control and accurate reporting.
  • Participate in in-store events, product launches and training sessions; liaise with Puig and Bijenkorf teams to amplify local marketing activations.
  • Uphold regulatory and hygiene standards for product demonstrations and sampling; maintain impeccable personal presentation.

Qualifications

  • Commercially driven with a demonstrable track record in retail sales or beauty consultancy.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
  • Comfortable performing makeup application, colour matching and delivering fragrance consultations.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and peak retail periods; adaptable to temporary contract requirements.
  • Professional demeanour, high standards of grooming and adherence to luxury brand presentation.

Experience

Typically 1+ year of frontline retail or beauty consultancy experience; prior work within a department store or prestige cosmetics environment preferred.
