Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage IT Security Operations.
  • Oversee external Security Operations Center (SOC).
  • Investigate and manage IT alerts and incidents.
  • Maintain and optimize security tools.
  • Develop Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Extended Detection and Response (XDR) solutions.
  • Conduct vulnerability testing and collaborate with IT teams to enhance defensive protocols.

Qualifications

  • Over 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Fluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken.

Skills

Deep knowledge of IT systems including hardware, software, and networks. Expertise in Microsoft Security tools (e.g., Sentinel, MDE, MDI, Cloud App Security, Purview, Entra ID). Proactive self-starter with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. In-depth understanding of Microsoft and Linux operating systems. Knowledge of network security, preferably with Palo Alto, Meraki, Vectra. Understanding of cyber attack strategies.

Experience

The candidate must possess over five years of experience in IT security operations, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity tools and protocols.

Education

Degree in computer science or a related field.
