Role & Responsibilities

• Evaluate raw material needs and plan purchases accordingly.
• Check fabric stock levels necessary for garment production.
• Process orders and monitor their progress.
• Prepare fabric data sheets.
• Draft supply contracts and purchase orders, ensuring delivery timelines are met.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and workshops for collection and runway garments.
• Verify the status of raw material deliveries.
• Ensure quality standards are met, highlighting any irregularities.
• Resolve issues related to fabric quality.
• Manage quality disputes concerning raw materials.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and group standards.
• Contribute to the evaluation of new suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Management or related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a purchasing department within the textile industry.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Flexibility in work approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AS400.
• Good command of the English language.
