Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised, consultative client service and product presentations of coloured gemstones and fine jewellery to a discerning clientele.
  • Manage daily boutique or department store operations including opening/closing procedures, point-of-sale transactions and cash handling.
  • Oversee inventory controls: place orders for merchandise and fixtures, conduct stock counts and maintain accurate stock records.
  • Execute seasonal and product-led visual merchandising and display changes to reflect collection stories and commercial priorities.
  • Maintain and update client records, prepare and dispatch communications for new launches and events, and support clienteling initiatives.
  • Perform ancillary administrative tasks and operational duties necessary for seamless boutique functioning.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of face-to-face sales experience selling to private clients in luxury retail, cosmetics, automotive dealerships, real estate or equivalent; department store private-client experience is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to identify latent client needs and convert them into considered product recommendations and sales (3+ years).
  • Demonstrated track record of building and maintaining stable client relationships and contributing to individual and store sales objectives.
  • Experience in jewellery retail or demonstrable knowledge of gemstones and fine jewellery is preferred.

Experience

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in sales, retail or jewellery-related studies is desirable but not mandatory.
