Product Development R&D Specialist

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test new materials, processes, or technologies.
• Create and test prototypes using 3D software and other modeling tools.
• Collaborate with creativity, engineering, and marketing departments to align R&D efforts with business objectives.
• Document research findings, methodologies, and product specifications.
• Present research outcomes and product proposals to stakeholders.
• Ensure all R&D activities comply with relevant regulations and ethical standards.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Conduct in-depth research to identify market trends, emerging technologies, new materials, and innovation opportunities.
• Research new suppliers offering innovative and sustainable materials.
• Engage with suppliers through visits and sampling of Pomellato shapes.
• Conduct laboratory testing (physical, chemical, waterproofing, durability, resistance) supported by internal lab.
• Archive all physical samples in dedicated storage and digitally manage related data, certificates, and test results through DAM platform.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Materials Engineering or a related field.
• At least two years of relevant work experience.
