Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test new materials, processes, or technologies.
- Create and test prototypes using 3D software and other modeling tools.
- Collaborate with creativity, engineering, and marketing departments to align R&D efforts with business objectives.
- Document research findings, methodologies, and product specifications.
- Present research outcomes and product proposals to stakeholders.
- Ensure all R&D activities comply with relevant regulations and ethical standards.
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Conduct in-depth research to identify market trends, emerging technologies, new materials, and innovation opportunities.
- Research new suppliers offering innovative and sustainable materials.
- Engage with suppliers through visits and sampling of Pomellato shapes.
- Conduct laboratory testing (physical, chemical, waterproofing, durability, resistance) supported by internal lab.
- Archive all physical samples in dedicated storage and digitally manage related data, certificates, and test results through DAM platform.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Materials Engineering or a related field.
- At least two years of relevant work experience.
