Pomellato seeks a Sales Associate at Ginza Mitsukoshi, Tokyo — client-facing luxury jewellery sales role focused on coloured gemstones and boutique operations.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised, consultative sales of Pomellato jewellery — including coloured-stone pieces — adapting suggestions to each client’s style and latent needs.
  • Manage all front-line boutique and department-store retail operations: opening/closing procedures, POS/cash handling, order placement, stock control and periodic inventory counts.
  • Maintain and update visual merchandising and product displays in line with seasonal launches and brand directives.
  • Administer customer records and CRM activity; prepare and dispatch communications for new arrivals, events and client invitations.
  • Perform related administrative and operational tasks to support boutique performance and client service continuity.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of client-facing sales experience in luxury retail or client-sale environments (luxury brands, cosmetics, automotive retail, real estate).
  • Proven track record of identifying clients’ latent needs, delivering tailored proposals and consistently meeting sales targets.
  • Experience in department-store external/VIP sales is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of fine jewellery, gemstones, or prior jewellery retail experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a team to achieve individual and store objectives and to represent the brand’s craftsmanship and aesthetic with credibility.

Experience

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, sales, or jewellery is advantageous.
