3D Technical Designer
Pomellato in Milan seeks a 3D Technical Designer to lead jewellery 3D design, prototyping and industrialization using Rhinoceros 3D.

Role & Responsibilities
- Design and industrialize new jewellery collections in collaboration with Product Development.
- Redesign and optimise existing lines to enhance manufacturability, process efficiency and product quality.
- Manage end-to-end development projects, coordinating with internal modelmakers and external suppliers or collaborators.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, datasheets and the information packages required for production.
- Operate and perform routine maintenance on 3D prototyping equipment to support rapid iteration and sample production.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar 3D design or technical role, preferably within jewellery or luxury accessories manufacturing.
- Proven knowledge of Rhinoceros 3D and general 3D CAD workflows at a medium-to-advanced level.
- Practical familiarity with 3D rapid prototyping technologies and basic machine operation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Critical thinker able to propose alternative, unconventional solutions to design and production challenges.
Skills
Experience
2–3 years in 3D design/CAD roles, ideally with hands-on exposure to jewellery product development or precision accessories manufacturing.
Education
Degree or diploma in Industrial Design, Jewellery Design, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline; equivalent vocational or on-the-job training in jewellery CAD and prototyping accepted.
