Visual Merchandising & Store Design Planning Manager
Piaget is hiring a Visual Merchandising & Store Design Planning Manager in New York — lead store design, VM rollouts and project management for the luxury maison.

Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute global visual merchandising (VM) and store design planning strategies that reinforce Piaget’s brand codes across all retail touchpoints.
- Lead seasonal VM rollouts and permanent fixture programs, creating clear guidelines, technical pack deliverables and installation instructions for boutiques.
- Project-manage store openings, renovations and refits in collaboration with architects, contractors and local retail teams, ensuring schedule, quality and budget adherence.
- Translate creative direction into actionable store layouts, display concepts and material specifications, balancing aesthetic intent with operational constraints.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including retail operations, marketing, product, sourcing and external vendors to align timelines and resources.
- Develop and maintain a library of VM assets, CAD drawings and merchandising standards; ensure version control and distribution to global wholesale and owned stores.
- Train and coach store teams and regional VM leads on visual standards, installation techniques and KPI-driven merchandising practices.
- Monitor retail performance and customer feedback to refine VM strategies; produce regular reports and post-installation reviews to measure impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, visual merchandising, retail management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven leadership experience in luxury retail visual merchandising and store planning, with responsibility for multi-market rollouts.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience managing project budgets, timelines and third-party suppliers.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to present concepts to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Strong sense of luxury brand aesthetics and attention to detail, with an ability to translate creative vision into reproducible retail environments.

Experience
Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in visual merchandising and store design within luxury retail, including hands-on involvement in store openings, retail refits and multi-market implementation. Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing external suppliers.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Visual Merchandising, Retail Management, or equivalent professional experience.
