Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and continuously refine a comprehensive training curriculum covering product knowledge, clienteling, sales techniques, visual merchandising and after-sales service for Tokyo boutiques.
  • Deliver instructor-led sessions and oversee digital learning initiatives (e‑learning modules, microlearning, and assessments) to ensure consistent brand standards across stores.
  • Lead, mentor and evaluate boutique trainers and temporary instructors; conduct train-the-trainer programmes to cascade expertise.
  • Partner with regional L&D and retail leadership to align training priorities, launch seasonal product education and support store openings or remodels.
  • Establish and track KPIs to measure training effectiveness and sales impact; prepare regular reports and recommendations for senior management.
  • Manage training logistics and budget for the market (scheduling, materials, vendor relationships and classroom resources).
  • Support onboarding and probation processes for retail hires, ensuring rapid assimilation of Piaget standards and client experience protocols.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to translate brand positioning into practical retail learning interventions.
  • Strong facilitation skills with experience delivering both classroom and virtual training.
  • Analytical capability to define KPIs and measure training outcomes against commercial targets.
  • Leadership aptitude for coaching managers and building internal trainer capability.
  • Excellent organisational skills and experience managing multiple concurrent training projects.

Experience

Approximately 5+ years in learning & development or retail training, ideally within the luxury goods sector, with a minimum of 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity responsible for multi-site retail operations.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
