Piaget is hiring a Logistics and Continuous Improvement Manager in La Côte‑aux‑Fées, Switzerland to lead site logistics and Lean initiatives.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end logistics operations for the manufacturing site, including inbound receiving, warehousing, inventory control, picking, packing and outbound shipment coordination.
  • Define and deploy a continuous improvement roadmap using Lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen) and Six Sigma principles to increase productivity, reduce lead times and lower costs.
  • Design and monitor logistics KPIs; implement corrective actions and sustainment plans to achieve service, quality and efficiency targets.
  • Manage and develop a small operational team and external logistics partners, including capacity planning, training and performance reviews.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional projects with production, procurement, quality and product development to ensure material flow and production readiness.
  • Drive digitalization of logistics processes, SAP master‑data governance and process automation initiatives to improve traceability and reporting.
  • Own budgetary control for logistics activities and propose investments to improve site throughput and workplace ergonomics.
  • Ensure compliance with Swiss customs, transport regulations and internal security/quality standards for high‑value goods.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, logistics, supply chain management or equivalent; Master's preferred.
  • Certification or formal training in Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent continuous improvement methodologies is strongly preferred.
  • Proven leadership capability with experience managing small operational teams and external service providers.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with experience establishing and tracking operational KPIs.

Experience

Several years (typically 5+) of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain or operations with demonstrable results in continuous improvement projects; experience in luxury goods, watchmaking or precision manufacturing is highly desirable.

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial management, logistics or a related discipline; Master's degree or equivalent is an advantage.
