Role & Responsibilities

  • Create Service Orders and release manufacturing orders (OF) for all workshops; ensure timely launches and follow-up of work-in-progress.
  • Escalate and unblock stalled manufacturing orders regardless of cause or location; coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders.
  • Translate system priorities into shop-floor visual management boards and communicate priorities to workshop managers during operational meetings.
  • Represent scheduling at PPOQM sessions and liaise closely with Planning and other support functions to manage administrative processing of returned parts (recording, routing for rework, issuing new OFs).
  • Monitor and update manufacturing lead times for each operation; identify shortages and notify the planner and line manager.
  • Manage stock-related activities including order preparation, stock control, staging of products for internal or external dispatch, and updating information systems; prepare related administrative documents as required.
  • Ensure procurement of all consumables required for operations and provide high-quality support and communication to internal partners.
  • Design, monitor and report production-flow KPIs, analyse flow-related problems and propose improvement actions; participate in project teams as needed.
  • Handle operational subcontracting: manage physical and administrative flows, prepare orders, oversee receipt/dispatch and related invoicing; maintain professional communication with external partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Production Management (HES/HEG) or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years' experience in production management within the watchmaking industry.
  • Solid knowledge of watchmaking production processes and shop-floor operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external partners.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office and experience using ERP systems, specifically SAP.

Experience

Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in production scheduling or production management within the horology/watchmaking sector, including shop-floor coordination and subcontracting operations.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Production Management (HES/HEG) or equivalent.
