Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery of manufacturing plans and necessary tooling for the industrialization of new products, particularly in the watch casing and assembly sectors.
  • Allocate and monitor the workload of the department to ensure adherence to deadlines while maintaining Patek Philippe's quality standards.
  • Collaborate with workshops to maintain and evolve reference standards.
  • Lead, unify, motivate, and develop a team of 8 process designers.
  • Seek solutions with the team to optimize design time.
  • Ensure the development and versatility of team members through guidance and training.
  • Provide regular reports to various methods managers.

Qualifications

  • Advanced education (university level or equivalent) in mechanical engineering or industrial design.
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience as a leader of a technical team in the mechanical or micromechanical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of watchmaking products and processes, ideally in casing.
  • Proficiency in design tools (FMEA, GPS, Tolerance Chains) and particularly in SolidWorks.
  • Project management experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and listening ability.
  • Client-oriented with strong analytical, synthesis, and proposal skills.

Experience

A minimum of 5 years in a managerial role within a technical team in the mechanical or micromechanical industry is required.
